Hiking trails and bike trails
More and more people are being drawn to explore the great outdoors, whether by bike or on foot. This creates new challenges with regard to constructing and maintaining trails. A few examples are the coexistence of diverse user groups, attractive and sustainable route planning and preventing excessive erosion.
Consulting
We support our clients in the construction, restoration and maintenance of hiking trails and mountain biking infrastructure – from the initial idea to the planning, communication with stakeholders, workshops and implementation.
Planning
When constructing completely new trails, it is important to carefully consider maintenance, usage, topographical and geological aspects, restrictions and much more, followed by proper organisation and structuring. That’s where we come in.
We know what matters to the authorities and to nature. With a carefully developed trail design, we can skilfully combine fun and benefits, minimise maintenance costs and preserve resources.
Implementation
Alongside the construction of new trails, individual sections or hiking routes can also be equipped for new challenges by means of targeted maintenance. This often does not require excessive intervention, but rather skilful and individual solutions. In the field of hiking and biking trail maintenance, we also offer courses for employees in the municipal works, forestry and mountain railway sectors as well as interested parties.
